Ceramic Bead Blasting Finishing for Golf Club Heads and Shafts
Golf club heads and shafts are mostly made of titanium alloy, stainless steel and high-strength aluminum alloy. After forging, casting and CNC machining, the metal surface often contains fine burrs, tool marks, oxide layers and uneven textures. Precision blasting finishing is a key process to improve surface quality, enhance fatigue resistance and achieve premium matte appearance. Ceramic Bead B40 features larger particle size (0.250–0.425 mm) and moderate abrasive force, ideal for metal surface strengthening and unified matte finishing. It produces a delicate, uniform satin texture on club surfaces, delivering high-end metallic matte visual effect and comfortable touch. Meanwhile, B40 blasting forms a compressive stress layer on the metal surface, significantly improving the impact resistance and fatigue life of golf clubs under long-term striking loads. Compared with traditional glass beads and steel grits, ceramic beads have extremely low breakage rate and excellent recyclability, generating less dust and no surface scratches.
